Anger Management Evaluations
Court-Approved Evaluations
Anger Management evaluations are conducted by a licensed professional. Anger is a difficult emotion to control, even in the best of circumstances. If you were arrested for a violent charge, you may be required to complete an anger management evaluation by your probation officer.
During the evaluation, we explore your family and abuse history, current and past charges, demeanor, patterns of anger expression (both state and trait), and your anger management skills.
Why Anger Management Evaluations?
An anger management evaluation may be required as part of pretrial diversion, probation, or parole conditions for both misdemeanor and felony cases. This evaluation is not designed to determine whether you have an anger issue but to assess your understanding of anger management strategies and your ability to apply them effectively.
While anger is a normal emotion, managing it well requires self-awareness and practice. Learning to recognize your triggers, control your emotions, and respond in constructive ways can positively impact every area of your life. If an anger management program is recommended, itβs because we believe it will help you build healthier habits and avoid future legal or personal difficulties.
How to Schedule Your Evaluation
Evaluations are available by appointment on weekdays and must be scheduled in advance.
The typical processing time for evaluation results is 3β5 business days. For those who require same-day results, a $50 rush fee applies. Same-day evaluations are only available if all required documentation is provided at the time of the appointment.
